Tracking AliExpress Orders with Cyprus Post

AliExpress orders in Cyprus

Many orders from AliExpress arrive in Cyprus through Cyprus Post. Tracking can look confusing at first, because AliExpress often shows a different number from the one Cyprus Post uses. This guide explains what to expect.

The U prefix warning

Many AliExpress parcels use a tracking number starting with U. A U prefix number is often untracked or only partly tracked. It may show updates in China but stop once the parcel leaves China. That does not mean the parcel is lost. It often means the number cannot be tracked end to end.

Waiting for the postal number

When a tracked AliExpress parcel reaches Cyprus, Cyprus Post assigns it a postal tracking number, usually starting with RR, CP or CX. Check your AliExpress order page and your Cyprus Post tracking for the new number. If you only have a U prefix number, wait for the postal number before contacting Cyprus Post.

Cyprus arrival and delivery

Once the parcel arrives in Cyprus, it passes through customs and sorting, then goes out for delivery or to a Parcel24 locker. Delivery in Cyprus normally takes 1 to 3 working days after the parcel is released. If tracking stops for more than 10 days after arrival, contact Cyprus Post with your order details and any tracking numbers you have.

For official tracking, use the official Cyprus Post website at https://www.cypruspost.post/.
