How to Send a Parcel from Cyprus to the UK
Sending to the UK from Cyprus
The UK is one of the most popular destinations for parcels from Cyprus. After Brexit, the UK is a non-EU destination, so customs rules apply. With the right service and paperwork, sending to the UK is straightforward.
Choose the right service
- Registered Post: 5 to 10 working days, signature on delivery, good for documents and letters.
- EMS: 2 to 5 working days, priority handling, full tracking, best for urgent parcels.
- Parcel Post: economical for heavier parcels, longer delivery, full tracking.
Remember: from 1 January 2026, Registered Post sent internationally is for documents and letters only. For goods, choose Parcel Post or EMS.
Customs for the UK
Because the UK is outside the EU, you must complete a customs form. List the contents, value, and country of origin. The recipient may need to pay UK import charges before delivery. Keep a copy of the form with your tracking number.
Packing and addressing tips
- Use a strong box and enough padding for fragile items.
- Write the UK postcode clearly, for example a London address with its full postcode.
- Include your Cyprus return address on the parcel.
- Check the parcel weight and size limits at the post office before posting.
