Cyprus Post Tracking Not Working: Fixes That Work
When Cyprus Post tracking shows nothing
A blank tracking result is frustrating, but it is usually caused by a small error or by normal scan gaps. Work through these fixes in order before you assume the parcel is lost.
Fix 1: Check the number
Remove spaces, use capital letters, and check every digit. A standard Cyprus Post number has 2 letters, 9 digits and CY at the end. QuickPost uses a 10 digit number. One wrong digit gives no result at all.
Fix 2: Check you have a tracking number
A shop order number is not a tracking number. If the seller only gave you an order number, ask for the postal tracking number. Numbers that start with the letter U are often untracked or only partly tracked, so they may never show full scans.
Fix 3: Wait 24 to 48 hours
The first scan can take a day to appear after posting. Scans appear at sorting centres, airports and delivery offices, not every hour. Check again after 24 to 48 hours before you worry.
Fix 4: Allow for customs and borders
International parcels update at export and import scans, with gaps in between. A parcel in customs can sit for days with no new scan. This is normal, especially for parcels entering Cyprus from outside the European Union.
Fix 5: Try the official site again
Tracking systems can fail for short periods. Try again later, and try the official Cyprus Post website directly at https://www.cypruspost.post/. Avoid unofficial tracking sites that may show old or wrong data.
